GGUSD to Host Drug Prevention Webinar for Parents

Garden Grove Unified School District invites parents, families and staff to attend a webinar presentation, called Prescription for Prevention, on Wednesday, March 16 from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. to 7 p.m.  The presentation on prescription drug safety is being delivered by the Orange County Health Care Agency's Alcohol and Drug Education and Prevention Team.  

Those who attend will learn how to use medicine correctly, how to talk with children about medicine, how to safety buy medication online and simple ways for families to prevent improper prescription drug use.

Interpretation will be provided in Spanish and Vietnamese for both sessions. Korean and Arabic interpretation will also be offered in the 6 p.m. session.
