GGUSD to Host Parent Education Workshops

Garden Grove Unified School District invites all parents to attend the district's Parent Education Workshops beginning Friday, January 27th.

The upcoming Parent Education Workshops are based on the 40 Developmental Assets which are building blocks, such as behaviors, attitudes, and values, associated with student success. During these workshops, parents will learn how to help children make healthy choices, avoid high-risk behaviors, and continue on a path toward lifelong success.

Classes will be offered on Fridays, January 27, February 3, February 10, February 27 and February 24 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Peters K-3 Elementary School (MPR), 13162 Newhope Street in Garden Grove.

Classes will be offered in English, Spanish, Vietnamese and Korean. Childcare will be available based on parent need.
