Public Hearing - Sufficient Textbooks and Instructional Materials

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT on the 15th day of August, 2017, the Board of Education of the Garden Grove Unified School District will hold a public hearing, pursuant to Education Code Sections 60119, as amended, 60605 and 33126 to certify that for fiscal year 2017-2018 each pupil in the district has sufficient textbooks and instructional materials that are aligned to content standards adopted pursuant to EC Sections 60605 and 33126 in each subject as appropriate and that they are consistent with content and cycles of the curriculum framework adopted by the state board.
The public hearing will be held at the Education Center, 10331 Stanford Avenue, Garden Grove, California, at 7:00 p.m.

Notice to be posted in three (3) places in the district: said copies to be posted one at and on the Education Center, 10331 Stanford Avenue, Garden Grove, one at and on La Quinta High School, 10372 McFadden Avenue, Westminster, and one at and on Pacifica High School, 6851 Lampson Avenue, Garden Grove.
